Ortigia Sicilia is a boutique Italian soap and fragrance house founded in Sicily by Sue Townsend. Its collection of soaps, perfumes, creams, candles and lotions is crafted from natural, indigenous ingredients, capturing the colours, scents and timeless beauty of the island.

The perfumes, created by master perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi, are distilled from Sicilian flowers and blended with natural bases of olive oil, vegetable glycerine and organic colours. All products are paraben-free, free from SLS, nickel and silicones, not tested on animals, and combine traditional craftsmanship with modern ethics and integrity.

Production is entrusted to small family companies in Sicily, who take pride in their artisanal quality. The striking packaging, designed by Sue Townsend, reflects the exotic imagery and vibrant palette of the island.

Named after the ancient island of Ortigia in Siracusa, the brand embodies the layered history, lush landscapes and sensual spirit of Sicily – from the volcanic soils of Mount Etna to its groves of citrus, almonds, pistachios and saffron.
